Job Description

Agent-Air Export customer service is to perform all clerical duties in the Department to achieve its growth and profit objectives.

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Verify correctness & completeness of consignment instruction provided by shippers / consignee / Expeditors overseas office.
  • Handle all incoming telephone booking or communications.
  • Communicate with shipper to explain the procedure and handling notice for every shipment.
  • Communicate with sales office or collection branch for destination clarification as well as shipping approval and shipment handling details, quoting the local charge to the shipper when requested.
  • Arrange cargo & document pick-up / delivery when necessary and update freight information into ETMS.
  • Perform export declaration on behalf of customers when necessary.
  • Show the shipping rate and flight arrange requirement clearly on the file and place booking to operation team for best flight plan.
  • Handle HAWB & invoice release to shippers and follow up on invoice and billing status for F2F shipment.
  • Collect the AR on time or apply for the BCR as per company’s guideline.
  • Send pre-alert and shipment status to customers & overseas office when requested.
  • Maintain all shipment files and records correctly and timely, including keeping and disposal, as per OPS requirement.
  • Handle general enquiries from internal departments, customers, and overseas offices.

Qualifications

  • College graduated or above, preferably with a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Typing skills and computer knowledge preferred.
