In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
  • Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
  • Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
  • Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
  • Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.
  • A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
  • Federal Work Study student may apply.
  • In good disciplinary standing.
  • Must be located in the U.S.

The Booking Assistant will be responsible for guiding and instructing AT students on how to book recording facilities for projects / sessions and practice time.

There will be weeks (evenings) when you will have to book recording sessions with students at the booking office desk and you will need to answer booking and recording curriculum questions for all ATD Departments.

You will be instructed and trained by the Booking Manager / Coordinator and Student Employee Supervisors on all the procedures and protocols as well as all the responsibilities our team is required to perform for the division.

Weekend and night shifts are requiredplease take this into consideration before applying for the position and be prepared to discuss at the interview. For all students working and for scheduling, you must be responsible for covering your shifts that you are scheduled to work should any conflicts arise after your schedule is made.

  • Ability to follow project booking maps for all departments
  • Answer specific questions about booking projects
  • Possess a professional attitude at the booking window with your peers, staff and faculty
  • Knowledge of the EMS and Citrix Booking Program
  • Manage Excel Spreadsheets
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Previous service industry experience a plus
