The client's Digital Technology team is seeking a Software Engineer to manage and build software solutions across the client's Digital Platform. The Software Engineer, primarily focusing on backend development in video processing, will be responsible for building and managing software solutions for various projects. This role requires hands-on software development skills and deep technical expertise in video processing, especially developing with AWS Lambda, Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate in cloud infrastructure. The Software Engineer will be required to provide estimates for tasks, follow technology best practices, participate and adhere to the client's Technical Design Review Process, performance metrics/scalability, support integration and release planning activities, and be available for level 3 support to triage production issues.

Required Skills:

1. Experience with various video processing technologies, server-side development, OO modeling, middleware, relational databases, and distributed computing technologies.
2. Experience in digital video workflows (Ingest, Transcode, Publish).
3. Experience in Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
4. Experience with Video Content Management Systems.
5. Expertise in cloud transcoding workflows.
6. Demonstrated experience running projects end-to-end.
7. Possess expert knowledge in performance, scalability, security, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
8. Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic websites/applications.
9. Experience working in financial and media domains.
10. Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with AWS cloud technology related to video processing.
2. Expertise with Elemental technologies.

Languages and Software:

• Framework: MVC Framework like Spring, JPA, Hibernate, JAXB, AWS Lambda.
