About the Role:

As a sensor Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our sensor engineering team's capabilities, particularly in implementing our customer-facing UI. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver world-class cybersecurity solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. You'll utilize a combination of technologies, including both managed and native code in C# and C++, to develop and maintain robust user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with the Windows sensor. Our development process involves agile methodologies, continuous integration, and automated testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality code. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our multi-platform endpoint developers and various teams across the organization. We’re a remote-first workplace and leverage team productivity tools like Slack, Zoom, and Confluence for day-to-day communication.

What You'll Need:

  • 5 + years of experience developing robust, internationalized, ADA compliant presentation layers for desktop applications.
  • Proficiency with .NET, C#, XAML and Native Interop
  • Programming proficiency in C++
  • Understanding of Windows OS Internals
  • Experience working with remoting technologies and protocols such as COM, RPC, ALPC, protobuf
  • Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.
  • Lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
  • Good understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews.
  • Basic project management skills, including planning out delivery and coordinating work amongst peers.
  • Takes initiative to fix issues before being assigned to them. Persistent when facing roadblocks, overcoming them efficiently.
