As a social scientist, you’re excited at the prospect of using your extensive knowledge of various sciences to assist the intelligence community. You will apply your knowledge of web usability testing methods and user research studies and conduct user experience (UX) research on websites, software applications, and mobile apps to enhance the user experience.
You will conduct web research studies to design user-centered test plans across the design cycle from concept phase to post-release evaluations. Then you will incorporate quantitative and qualitative UX research methodologies to convey complex technical and business requirements. You’ll conduct UX research through usability testing, interviews, card sorting, and other industry methodologies. Based on that research, you’ll also provide data-driven reports, in a variety of formats, to diverse audiences.
You Have:
- 7+ years of experience with applying user research methods, such as usability testing, user interviews, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, or field studies
- Experience with integrating consumer research into a business’s product design practice
- Experience with product usability testing tools in the product development process to help research, create, and test digital representations of work by leveraging specialized UX tools, including Balsamiq, UX PIN, or FIGMA
- Experience with using methodology concepts for analysis and brief findings to organizations
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in UX research or related field
- Experience with statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, or quantitative analysis
- Experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Matomo Analytics, or Tableau
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
