Description
The Creative Manager will be responsible for managing the translation of complex ideas and strategies
into comprehensive, attractive, and compelling presentations and visual stories. Entrusted with our brand, they will have a proficiency in taking concepts and rendering them into thoughtful and compelling design.
They will have a portfolio that is stylish, intuitive, and creative. They will have a strong ability to
communicate difficult ideas to any audience through illustration, animation and motion.
They will oversee the design team in the creation, development, and refinement of innovative and
compelling design projects that are in line with the brand objectives and goals of Wyld.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee departmental staff
- Clearly communicate with team members, ensuring strategic information is funneled to the appropriate parties
- Perform department employee performance reviews
- Responsible for overseeing the hiring and termination of direct reports
- Provide coaching to the department to ensure all staff have the resources necessary to perform their duties correctly
- Managing departmental goals and initiatives
- Creatively lead and contribute to the visual design of multiple projects including but not limited to packaging, product and lifestyle photography, campaign assets, selling tools, print and digital media, brand decks, infographics, websites, and corporate communication templates.
- Communicate with internal and external employees and contractors, both visually and in writing, about a wide variety of concepts, processes, and products across multiple studio locations.
- Manager iterative review, revision, and final delivery with external agencies that collaborate on various Wyld projects
- Oversee accurate, timely, and streamlined file management for all design files within existing platforms
- Participate in weekly operational and editorial meetings to drive departmental success from concept to completion
- Create and maintain departmental budgets
- Able to sort through complicated, extensive, and often conflicting information to effectively attack and solve problems

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- 3-5 years experience in a design studio or interactive agency, or equivalent
- Fluent in visual design, linear storytelling, and typography
- Experience in authoring conceptual storyboards including creating messaging/story structure, script and copywriting from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to work well in multi-disciplinary groups (including technical, business, and customer experience)
- High level skills in Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Interactive design skills a bonus (Flash and/or After Effects)
- Strong visual portfolio
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Possess advanced mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Will be required to submit to a background check
- Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
- Travel between sites may be required
