Contract Duration:6 months contract
OVERVIEW & IMPACT :
As an integral part of our team, the Graphic Designer will work directly with the Digital & Design Team on various creative and innovative projects supporting customer and industry events. This role will support the team and collaborate with directors, managers, copywriters, and most of the time – our design team in designing presentations and other assets using templates, renderings, illustrations, and icons that best communicate the message to our audience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create, edit, revise, and update PPT presentations/slide decks using the fundamental principles of graphic design while following brand guidelines.
• Provide excellent attention to detail as it applies to the application of brand guidelines with an ability to efficiently review slide decks to ensure formatting is correct and consistent.
• Perform an overall polish to all presentation slides.
• Assist in various website and social media projects as needed. This may include creating graphics, organizing assets, and/or creating a webpage template.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 5+ years of proven PowerPoint experience crafting visuals and designing presentations of established brands - with design samples using infographics, illustrations, diagrams, photo-illustrations, and compositing.
• Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud Software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of fundamental principles of graphic design for brand, presentation, layout, infographics, graphs, typography, video, and photography is essential.
• BA, BS, MA, or MFA in Graphic Design or equivalent field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to learn about new brands and adjust to client design style.
• Ability to work on various presentations and/or projects in parallel.
• Ability to take intent and direction from peers, leaders, and stakeholders, and apply design skills to create a vision, iterate quickly, revise, and produce final presentations.
• Creativity in providing multiple layout options for a single concept in a timely manner.
• A flexible schedule is needed for on-demand support and a commitment to getting things done efficiently while meeting strict deadlines.
• Evidence of how you seek out and evangelize the latest creative and design industry trends, individuals, work, and technologies, and embrace change.
• Understanding of the creative process.
• Must work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Marketing in the semiconductor field is a plus.
• Animation skills are a plus.
