We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Community Manager to join our team. This role involves creating and managing community programs, engaging with audiences through social media platforms, and acting as a brand ambassador to strengthen our brand presence. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, excellent communicator, and skilled multitasker passionate about building meaningful connections between our brand and our community. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.


Key Responsibilities:


Program Management

  • Manage our affiliate program, ensuring users are easily able to sign up and are encouraged to share Planoly with their audience.
  • Identify and onboard partners, influencers, and advocates to drive brand loyalty and reach.
  • Track program performance metrics and optimize for growth and engagement.

Social Media Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive interactions by addressing concerns, answering questions, and promoting engagement.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to enhance our social media presence.

Community Events / Brand Ambassadorship:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with the brand voice, values, and messaging.

Community Building:

  • Create strategies to grow and maintain an engaged community of customers and advocates.
  • Plan, organize, and execute in-person and virtual community events to engage, educate, and inspire our audience.
  • Track and report on community growth, engagement metrics, and feedback.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to align community initiatives with company goals.
  • Provide insights from community interactions to help guide product and service improvements.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in community management, program management, social media, or related roles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Experience using social media platforms, analytics tools, and marketing software.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable speaking in public and representing the company at events.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and community management tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in social media or e-commerce software industries.
  • Passion for public speaking or hosting events.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and performance-based partnership strategies.
