The purpose of the Marketing Specialist position is to provide proactive support to the Roofing Division to ensure all relevant monthly, weekly and annual reports, projects, initiatives, presentations and events are completed professionally, accurately and on time. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in JM Roofing's general marketing efforts which includes tracking and reporting of JM marketing spend as well as organizing training and tradeshow events hosted by JM marketing.

Digital Production:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns in support of the integrated marketing plan digital assets including the website using various applications including Adobe AEM Develop and execute analysis of digital content effectiveness to assess effectiveness of digital content. Recommend SEO approaches and measure effectiveness. Maintain and improve marketing automation platform using Pardot or equivalent to support marketing campaigns and recommend changes for improved effectiveness. Analyze and report on metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns.
Content Strategy:
- Creates and develops on-going content in support of the integrated marketing plan and targeted campaigns aligned with the JM Brand Platform and Voice Principals. Manages the agency(ies) and other external resources for content development to support all marketing collateral in support of the business. Develops content targeted for each member of the channel (distributor, contractor, specifier, and building/facility owner or operator) using design programs such as Adobe Suite and Canva. Coordinates with the business team and sales for content creation for each of our marketing tools: Blogs, Webinars, Videos, Newsletters, Literature, Sales Aides, etc.
Channel Strategy:
- Ability to integrate multiple touchpoints in the marketing plan to a comprehensive integrated campaign Manage agency vendors and media partners to deliver high quality creative elements and media plans for campaigns Support product and sales team with strategic initiatives including support assets, customer tools and event planning/execution
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 to 3 years in marketing focused role
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Marketing Principles
- Adobe and Canva experience highly desirable
- Basic knowledge and understanding of financial statements
- Demonstrated ability to work toward continuous improvement and skill in improving processes and reporting
- Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and reporting
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Minimal travel required (Up to 10%)
- Work environment is typical of an office setting with a hybrid work schedule – 3 days in office.
