Overview


ASA Financial is an early-stage financial technology company that provides cutting-edge solutions to Fintechs, FI’s, and their consumers. We are looking for a motivated individual who can navigate problems independently and learn new skills quickly. ASA will rely on this person to craft a full-fledged marketing plan and champion its implementation while being willing and able to make adjustments along the way. The marketing of ASA, its solutions, and its partners is not a copy-and-paste marketing role. We have a complex marketing problem and require an experienced professional with at least 5-10 years of experience in marketing apps (financial apps are a bonus) to help us navigate towards a long-term branding solution. The marketing professional will be expected to prepare and present ideas and deliverables regularly, often reflected in the performance of their current live campaign activities.


Objectives & Responsibilities of this role


  • Reimagine ASA's brand persona and create messaging that reflects its brand values in tandem with its technology.
  • Contribute to lead-generating activities, such as implementing a new website, social media posts, email campaigns, and sales enablement.
  • Prepare and implement a full-scale marketing plan for ASA’s technologies across its four product channels: financial institutions, fintech, influencers, and direct consumers.
  • Collaborate with team members across the sales and executive roles to execute marketing campaigns and brainstorm new ideas.
  • Gather and analyze data from industry trends, competitive brands, and your marketing initiatives to consistently refine the organization’s marketing strategy.
  • Measure and report the performance of all marketing initiatives to the executive team and assess their effectiveness against our company-wide priorities.


Required skills and qualifications


  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, brand management, and/or advertisement.
  • Hands-on experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns for early-stage companies.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working individually and as a team member.
  • Proficiency in communication and presentation skills, with direct knowledge of tools related to those tasks (Figma, Jira, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and performance metrics.


Preferred skills and qualifications


  • Marketing experience with organizations within the financial industry.
  • Campaign ideation and execution for early-stage companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ex: Professional Certified Marketer)
  • Experience in content development and website design
  • Experience with relevant markets and trends
