Willow Creek Community Church is an egalitarian non-denominational, multi-site church in and across Chicagoland passionate about helping people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world.

As the Student Producer on our Central Ministry team you will build, develop, and execute the program experiences for Jr. High Ministry (JHM) and High School Ministry (HSM) for students in 6th-12th grades at our church campuses to help students take their next step with Jesus. You will collaborate with a cross campus team to brainstorm and create compelling services, special events and activities.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $68,000 and is dependent upon levels of experience and/or education. Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the creative planning process for JHM & HSM upcoming services, needs and trends in alignment with Central Students policies.
  • Collaborate with the Students team to brainstorm and create compelling services, special events and activities along with managing Planning Center Online service orders, details and schedules
  • Oversee the program process to help lead the rehearsals, sound checks, run throughs and actual programs including special events, camps and retreats. This includes coordinating with the technical director to ensure the technical aspects such as lighting, sound, video and staging are done with excellence.
  • Collaborate with Student Worship Pastor to champion the 7 segments of Student Ministry programs: Pre-service, Community, Worship, Word, Groups, Transitions, Home.
  • Providing opportunities for feedback, evaluation and accountability for JHM/HSM programs.
  • Develop a structure for students to explore their gifts in ministry especially as it relates to gifts that are used in programs, and create opportunities for students to use their gifts. This includes the shepherding and care of volunteers and development of the creative team volunteer culture in partnership with the Student Worship Pastor.
  • Create digital assets for student events and programs as needed, including the coordination of the social media and digital strategy.

Education and Experience:
  • Creative programing experience in a ministry area (kids or students ministry preferred)
  • Experience in leading volunteers
  • Experience with large scale productions
  • Experience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, Photoshop, and current Social Media trends
