POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Director is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships within the senior living industry. In partnership with the Marketing Director, the Community Relations Director will be responsible for organizing and conducting community tours, developing events at the community, and engaging with prospective residents and families. An understanding of and commitment to the principals and values of the community is required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Perform community relation functions and participate in local community activities for the facility with particular attention to clergy, medical, legal, financial and business entities who would have influence with the senior market.2. Develop and implement purposeful, relevant and innovative in-house events and functions that will generate new traffic to the community.3. Provide a strategic approach to improving and implementing community out-reach efforts, sales and marketing, increasing revenue and census, and building a professional network within the community. 4. Educate local professionals and prospective families on the community's mission and service through frequent communication. 5. Develop, implement, and evaluate current sales and marketing plan to achieve occupancy goals. 6. Perform all other such tasks as may be required from time-to-time by the Executive Director.UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS:•Exposure to blood/body fluid not likely.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:•Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: •Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. High School diploma required. •3+ years of experience in the senior living field preferred.•Excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting to both small and large groups.•Strong communication skills, verbal and written; English language skills adequate to allow communication with residents and staff, and to understand written and verbal instructions.•Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook.•Ability to network and develop strong working relationships.•Compassion and caring disposition for senior adults.•Must hold a valid driver's license.
