Position Overview:
True North Classical Academy, a classical liberal arts charter school, is seeking a talented and passionate Communication Manager to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies. This role will enhance the school's visibility, reputation, and engagement with stakeholders while aligning all communication efforts with our mission of cultivating virtue, wisdom, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic communication plan to promote the school's mission, values, and programs.
• Manage all internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, website content, and social media platforms.
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to highlight student achievements, academic programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Serve as the primary media contact and build relationships with local and regional media outlets.
• Organize and promote school events, such as open houses, parent meetings, and fundraising campaigns.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the classical education model.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
• Manage crisis communication efforts as needed, ensuring transparency and stakeholder confidence.
• Partner with admissions staff to develop campaigns that attract and retain families committed to classical education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in communication, marketing, or public relations (educational experience preferred).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of classical education and a passion for its mission.
• Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and email marketing tools.
• Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
