Job Title: Registered Nurse - Case Manager Job Specialty: Case Management Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 2 years required, Utilization Review experience 2-5 years License: AK RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACM-RN preferred Must-Have: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams - Experience with Epic (EMR) - UR experience (Adult, Pediatric/Maternity medical UR) - InterQual minimum 3 years experience Job Description: - Perform case management in an acute hospital setting. - Conduct Utilization Review (UR) and ensure compliance with hospital standards. - Utilize InterQual for assessing patient care and treatment plans. - Collaborate with healthcare teams using Microsoft Office and Teams. - Document patient information and care details in Epic. - Engage in case management of both adult and pediatric/maternity patients. - Opportunity for Monday - Friday business hours work schedule. - No call or weekend requirements. - Open to accommodating block schedule for eligible candidates. - Participate in orientation and training modules. - Maintain communication with supervisory references and provide necessary documentation. - Comply with hospital policies on Hep B vaccines. - Ensure case management practices align with facility requirements.
