Summary:
Support RTW Design team to create and execute monthly collection during all phases of design and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set-up, update and maintain seasonal Design Boards Pull seasonal color chips based on direction, screen for duplication, maintain Color Library Create and updating Design Line Sheets timely and accurately to reflect revision Set up Styles per Designers' direction onto PLM system Support Designers to create CADs, print placement, layouts and carry out necessary tasks to meet team deadlines Assist Team to check Protos & Salesman Samples, and ensure PLM has accurate matching information Maintain an organized Design Area and Design sample racks Assist Team to prepare, set up, clear out for Line Edit and Discrepancy meetings Adhere to calendar deadlines via taking initiatives and exercise full ownership Align to meeting development process with a detail oriented and thorough standard Able to maintain a constant sense of urgency while being creative in problem solving Qualifications:
2+ years of Women's Apparel experience in a Design department, preferably with PLM experience. Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, ability create/update CAD sketches swiftly. Excellent Microsoft Excel skill Basic knowledge Women's Apparel Design & Development process. Excellent eyes for colors, fabric and print. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented. Strong time management skill, ability to manage multiple projects and take initiatives, proactive, ownership driven Ability to adapt collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus with ease and flexibility Requirements:
Sit for long periods of time Advanced organizational skills and communication skills Office Environment experience Must be able to be in office. Los Angeles, CA
