Job Description

About client:

We have served the Lowcountry for 20 years with the ability to design, engineer, manufacture, deliver, and install custom cabinetry in residential homes and condos. Our cabinets are not semi-custom or stock cabinets. Instead, our team provides cabinetry in any width or depth required for the application in increments of 32mm. We offer hundreds of door styles and configurations, as well as thousands of finish combinations. We produce fine European-style cabinetry that balances form and function. Our showroom and manufacturing facility is in N. Charleston, and our clients are invited to tour the facility where their cabinets are produced by skilled team members utilizing the latest technology in software and equipment.

We are a cabinetry manufacturer and our design work is very technical. Our designers execute drawings for not only the client, but for a production environment. We aren't designing kitchen and bath cabinetry with pre-manufactured cabinets on the market. We design custom cabinetry that is built for each individual client home and is manufactured in our facility here in N. Charleston.

  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on design styles, materials, and finishes, serving as a liaison between the client and engineering.

  • Present design and proposals to clients, incorporating requested modifications.

  • Create detailed, executable drawings for both the client and engineering, leading to successful cabinetry manufacturing and installation for each project.

  • Effectively work with a team, including the ability to collaborate with a drafter, engineer, production, or installation team members.

  • Research and stay current on industry trends and practices, and product/material availability.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, design specifications, and project details, while keeping the project up to date in internal project management tools.

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and solicit prospective clients.

  • Extensive knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and construction techniques.

  • The ability to identify problems and contribute to productive resolutions.

  • Energetic capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Adept leadership skills - successfully leading the client through the design process while setting expectations and communicating necessary requirements for project progression.
