Architect Associates is a small studio with locations in NYC and DFW. We're an interdisciplinary architecture and design firm with a diverse range of residential, urban planning, hospitality, and retail projects.
We're looking for a full-time Interior Designer to join our office in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with FF&E and OS&E selection and sourcing
Assist with design presentations
Assist with material research
Prepare material and FF&E palettes
Assist with FF&E documentation
Assist with budgeting and record-keeping
Model FF&E selections and provide realistic renderings
Assist with general office duties (contacting suppliers, organizing library, etc.)
Routine site visits for coordination review
Candidates should have these requirements:
3-6 years of experience in architecture and/or interior design
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture and/or interior design
Software experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Excel, Word
Ability to render using Rhino and V-Ray
Experience with all project phases and exposure to completed work
Preferred knowledge of specification sourcing (in NYC)
Preferred knowledge of finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, etc.
Preferred NCIDQ or CID credentials
This is an in-studio position, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home opportunities. Salary is commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
