Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Visualization Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets, creating compelling visualizations, and providing actionable insights to drive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL skills, hands-on experience with a mainstream data visualization platform (such as Dundas, Qlik, or Tableau), and a strong background in healthcare analytics, including clinical and financial metrics. Preferred candidates will also have proven experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance data insights and analytics processes.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Visualization:
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to present clinical and financial metrics effectively.
Leverage mainstream visualization tools (e.g., Dundas, Qlik, Tableau) to create insightful and user-friendly analytics solutions.
Data Management:
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various databases.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all analytics outputs.
AI-Driven Insights:
Utilize AI tools and techniques to uncover advanced data patterns and improve decision-making processes.
Implement machine learning models or predictive analytics where applicable to enhance reporting and insights.
Healthcare Analytics Expertise:
Analyze and interpret clinical and financial data to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to healthcare operations.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, clinical operations, and IT, to understand business needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevance to the audience.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data visualization, AI, and healthcare analytics.
Recommend and implement improvements to existing analytics processes and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in data analytics with a focus on visualization and healthcare metrics.
Advanced SQL skills, with demonstrated ability to write and optimize complex queries.
Proficiency in at least one mainstream visualization platform (Dundas, Post Gis, Qlik, Tableau, etc.).
Dundas experience preferred
Sequel Scripting Skills
Warehouse Database
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical and financial metrics, including quality measures, patient outcomes, and revenue cycle KPIs.
Experience working with large datasets and relational databases in healthcare environments.
Experience with Javascript and Python for data analytics/visualization platform scripting preferred
Proven ability to implement AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics) to enhance data insights.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Posted Salary Range
USD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
