We are currently seeking a well-organized, energetic, detail-oriented, and collaborative Senior Marketing Coordinator. This role would report directly to the Marketing and Business Development (BD) Manager and work directly with the technical staff across all geographic areas and practice areas of the company. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in achieving the strategic growth goals of the company through proposal development, branding, and implementation of marketing strategies. ResponsibilitiesProposal Development
Coordinate and prepare high-quality proposals and qualification packages to secure new contracts and projects. Maintain an internal library of updated project descriptions, resumes, and other materials for proposals. Maintain clear communication to ensure a collaborative, efficient, accurate, and timely proposal development process between all stakeholders. Ensure all proposal deadlines are met while managing multiple projects, proposals, and other quick-turn requests. Brand Management
Manage and optimize the company brand and online presence through digital marketing and content creation, including the company website, LinkedIn, etc. Support technical teams with tracking and registering EKI employees for upcoming conferences, abstract submittals, and other networking opportunities. Support the Human Resources (HR) department and technical teams with the development of marketing materials for career fairs, conferences, and corporate events. Maintain internal branding and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in the company’s quality of deliverables. Support the HR department in maintaining the company’s culture through employee events, employee polls and outreach, charity donations, and other intra-company communication (e.g., Intranet). Customer Relations
Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, webinars, and other networking opportunities to increase company visibility and strengthen client relationships. Build and maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) software with timely, relevant, and accurate data to ensure proactive client engagement and evaluation of valuable performance metrics. Business Development
Support efforts to identify new business opportunities in emerging markets and through new and existing client expansion and engagement. Internal Operations
Support the Marketing and BD Manager in the collection and evaluation of marketing/BD performance metrics. Provide timely, concise, and accurate marketing data and reports to the Chief Operating Officer and technical staff to demonstrate marketing/BD strategy efficacy. Assist with the development of annual marketing plans and associated budgets for the marketing/BD department and practice areas. Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate should have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and business development. Experience in the environmental, engineering, or water resources fields is preferred but not required. Track record of successful marketing campaign coordination, brand awareness, lead generation, and proposal development. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word Press, SharePoint, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign). Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Experience with Deltek VantagePoint CRM is strongly preferred. Demonstrated reliability, dependability, flexibility, and strong business/personal ethics. Demonstrated an aptitude in creative intuition and strategic thinking. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff vertically and horizontally within the company.
