A promotional product agency specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-quality premiums, promotional merchandise, and toys for many of the world’s leading brands. This agency is dedicated to bringing the world’s largest brands into homes, sports arenas, theme parks, quick-serve restaurants, and other centers of commerce. They are seeking a hunter-type Business Development/Sales Executive to be instrumental in the growth. As a brand relationship expert, you have a proven track record of meeting sales quotas and developing cutting-edge ideas that drive healthy, sustainable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating Promotional Giveaways - from concept of campaign to developing custom promotional products and merchandise - everything from give-away items in CPG items and QSR restaurants to higher-end merchandise sold at theme parks and retail stores.
- Generating leads and target lists.
- Fearlessly cold-calling (and other creative means) in reaching new clients.
- Writing RFP/RFQ’s for promotions and on-going programs.
- Managing existing relationships.
- Maintaining a database to track and measure business growth.
- Achieving short and long-term sales and profitability goals.
- Pitching business goals, strategies, and tactics.
- Managing projects from ideation to completion.
- Encouraging new and increased business within current accounts.
- Being aware of new business opportunities for all company business units.
- Developing sales materials for client pitches and follow-ups.
- Researching, analyzing, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Countering competitive activity with company’s strengths and capabilities.
- Excelling at customer service for clients and fellow associates.
- Working within assigned budgets and forecasts.
- Understanding our client’s financial needs from revenue, costs to margin.
- Developing creative solutions for clients’ branding needs.
- Monitoring competitive products and marketing activities.
- Celebrating your successes with the company and your fellow associates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years Business Development/Sales.
- Creativity and experience in product and/or concept development.
- Excellent Customer Service, Client Relationship Building.
- Proven track record of increasing sales or business opportunities through client development.
- Excellent client presentation skills.
- Complex negotiating skills.
