Your Impact
Hearst's Tech, Travel, CPG and Emerging Markets team seeks an Associate Director, of Marketing & Account Strategy. This role will work with a cross-disciplinary team of salespeople, campaign strategists, content studio professionals and others, to build programs for advertisers that allow for Hearst Magazines to grow revenue and margins, while delivering powerful results for our clients. This role will be responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing partnerships and programs for the Pharma/CPG categories that set Hearst apart in our competitive set. The Associate Director will also work with salespeople to identify prospects that can be approached proactively with compelling ideas that can preempt the RFP process.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Conceptualize and develop partner-specific marketing platforms, such as digital/print/social custom content and native executions, customized experiences, and data-driven direct marketing campaigns for Pharma and CPG categories.
- Communicate marketing concepts and programs by writing proposals, presentations, and sell-sheets.
- If sold, work on hand-off materials for post-sale teams within Hearst that will manage actual execution that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Work with client/category/industry data, insights, and research
- Partner with a range of stakeholders across the brand and company at large to provide leadership to variety of marketing initiatives targeted toward clients, prospects, and employees
- Ensure that all marketing work meets the standards of the brands, and all aspects of written, design, and execution are of the highest quality
- Serve as a leader within the group in understanding client trends, competitive positioning and activity, and industry best practices
- Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- Experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of branding and communications, with proven experience successfully delivering integrated Pharma/CPG programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytic, problem-solving, resourceful and strategic thinking skills a must
- Experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs; strong copywriting skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and juggling multiple priorities, and ability to operate in a team culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence and to present to senior executives
- Positive, "can-do" attitude
- Tenacity, passion and drive for results
- An understanding of/interest in our editorial products and the health/wellness category
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Keynote
- Minimum 5 years of Pharma experience
