Description of Work
Assist in management of the Football Video Department operations, including the planning, coordination of filming, producing and editing of practice and game videos, as well as all technology within the Football department. Serve as co-group leader with the Director of Video Technology in resolving problems within the department. Assist Director of Video Technology in developing annual budget. Participate in hiring and training of new personnel. Supervise and provide technical training to staff in use of Catapult system. Assist in use of the Catapult THUNDER video system as well as other video equipment within the UNL football program. Import and edit all NCAA / NFL games in Catapult System. Help coordinate the video game management team during home and away contests. Research and assess new videographic methods and technology. Make recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements. Set up meeting rooms at the Home Team Hotel on Friday nights. Advanced travel to away games to setup Hotel meeting rooms. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Will include evening and weekend work. Some travel required. Position requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, communication, technology or related field and two (2) years’ experience working in a football video department; equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job will be considered. Experience in operating digital editing systems, a variety of video cameras and recording equipment, and an understanding of collegiate athletics. Work history will have demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work well in a team oriented environment. Must be able to safely lift objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a worked within a Division I football program; experience with Catapult THUNDER video systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Hudl video systems.
Additional Requirements
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.

Posted Salary: $65,000/yr. minimum
