This position performs professional activities in overseeing the development, maintenance and optimization of the Town's public facing website and internal web platform (employee portal). As part of the Town Manager's Office communications team, the role is responsible for managing website design and content, ensuring seamless user experience, and maintaining the website's functionality, accessibility, and security. The position collaborates with departments to ensure a unified Town brand across multiple communications resources. This position will also manage the Town's internal employee portal, surveys, third-party digital platforms such as the Town's walking tour application, and integrations into the Town's program and service specific websites.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in website maintenance and web development.
- Experience creating and managing website content.
- Coordinating and managing projects from start to finish.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as Granicus, WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with graphic design tools for creating web graphics.
- Experience in marketing and promotions.
- Ability to exercise good professional judgement independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Experience with website security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with programing languages such as PHP, Phyton or Ruby.
- Project Manager Professional (PMP).
- Experience in local government.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
