The Manager of Digital & Social Media Marketing is responsible for managing the social and web content, links, and brand standards on all digital communications across Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place. This role requires a working knowledge of social media, web & mobile development languages, publishing tools, and web-based marketing and media tactics, as well as experience maintaining on-page web and mobile optimization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to develop social calendars, maintain and continually improve an innovative, tech-forward guest experience and creative social media channels.
- Work with shared services to provide monthly analytics on all social channels, web sites and mobile pages. Set KPI benchmarks from analytics and competitive analysis.
- Manages the editorial and quality assurance process with content creators.
- Manages information submissions and updates for the digital assets across property, website and mobile.
- Create training guides (SOPs) and assessment programs for all gaming and non-gaming digital systems for outlets to ensure optimal utilization of technology on campus.
- Suggest enhanced guest journeys and experiences that will differentiate Palms from competitors and create demand.

- Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
- At least three years of experience in digital and social media marketing.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or significant related work experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Konami player tracking system, a plus.
- Working knowledge in gaming system implementation and integration.
- Working knowledge with loyalty and rewards program(s) in a digital environment and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with SEO (including tag management) and SEM.
- Knowledge and experience with HTML and XML.
- Must have experience with digital platform technology, cloud-based platforms, information architecture and web and mobile development.
- Working knowledge of authoring and publishing tools as well as social media content, web and mobile content management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Experience working with shared services team a plus.
- Experience creating analytical reporting for social media and digital assets on property, cloud, social, web, and mobile.
- Experience with computer graphics and multimedia design.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification.
- Work is performed in various settings including closed office and casino floor.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- May be exposed to smoke.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Constant contact with executives, department management, team members, and guests.
- Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Basic math.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
