ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a
Technical Writer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, gather, and understand technical information from subject matter experts to create clear and concise documentation. Develop and maintain user manuals, guides, technical specifications, and other documentation for software, hardware, or other technical products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation. Edit and proofread technical documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides. Keep abreast of industry trends, updates, and changes to ensure documentation remains relevant and accurate. Work closely with product teams to understand new features and functionalities and translate technical details into user-friendly documentation. Assist in creating tutorials, FAQs, and other educational materials to support end-users. Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on documentation and make necessary improvements. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand documentation. Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or Markdown. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable. Experience with graphic design tools for creating visuals in documentation is a bonus.
