Position Title: Assistant Director of Communication, Events and Technology- Enrollment Management

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management for Communication, Events and Technology supports the administrative functions and communications systems within Enrollment Management, reporting directly to the Director of Admission Strategy and Communications. This employee will be expected to perform a number of vital roles based on the undergraduate and graduate admission cycle. The Assistant Director of Communication, Events and Technology works with Admissions, Marketing and Web teams to support enrollment strategies (admissions and financial aid) communication and events. In addition, this position will also provide support to the larger team of admission counselors to recruit high caliber students. The Assistant Director of Communication, Events and Technology will be a problem solver and collaborator in providing proactive and creative solutions to enrollment opportunities and challenges.

Reports to: Director of Admission Strategy and Communications

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Office of Admission with its marketing and communication efforts.
  • Oversee the execution of various admissions events (i.e.,Campus Visits, Information Sessions, Open Houses, Accepted Students Days and VIP visits).
  • Serve as back up to the Director of Enrollment for Strategy and Communications in collaboration with the Director of Slate, and the Assistant Director of Operations all formal communications to prospects, applicants, and current students, including, but not limited to, printed communications (admission decision letters, scholarship letters, financial aid notices, Slate Print, etc.), student and staff portal pages, and checklists.
  • Provide oversight for admissions social media networks.
  • Assist with the Undergraduate, Graduate, Transfer and International Student Admissions the editing and updating of all admission website and first year portal content.
  • Manage the student ambassador program and campus tours.
  • Coordinate the Alumni Ambassador Recruitment program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the University.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in admission, communication and/or marketing preferably in higher education or related industry.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of a professional and liberal arts education.
  • Knowledge of college / university admission and financial aid process or related expertise.
  • Expertise in video and image editing; Some experience in graphic design preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work towards big-picture by coordinating and following through with small details independently and as part of a team.
