As a bootstrapped startup, we provide a unique opportunity for team members to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing and business growth.

This is not your average internship. As part of our small and agile team, you'll gain broad, real-world marketing experience while contributing directly to our success. You'll work with tools like HubSpot, manage social media accounts, and receive mentorship from experienced marketing advisors and agencies.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern who is eager to roll up their sleeves and dive into various aspects of marketing. This role will give you exposure to the entire marketing pipeline, from content creation and automation to campaign management and strategy.

As an intern, you'll help execute marketing initiatives, learn to optimize tools like HubSpot, and develop skills that are critical for building and scaling a startup. You'll also have the rare opportunity to work directly with our advisor and marketing agency, gaining invaluable mentorship and practical insights.

Key Responsibilities

HubSpot Management:

Assist in creating and managing marketing assets, including emails, sequences, workflows, and forms.

Support the team with marketing automation to optimize the customer journey across the lifecycle stages (Subscriber, Lead, MQL, SQL, etc.).

Help with data organization, tracking, and reporting within HubSpot.

Social Media Management:

Create, schedule, and publish content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

Monitor social media engagement and analyze performance metrics.

Research and propose new ideas for increasing brand visibility on social channels.

Content Creation and Copywriting:

Assist in developing blog posts, email newsletters, and social media captions.

Collaborate with the team to create and refine marketing collateral such as case studies, customer stories, and industry insights.

Campaign Support:

Help coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness.

Work with our marketing agency to implement paid and organic strategies.

Mentorship Opportunities:

Participate in regular check-ins and learning sessions with our marketing advisor and agency partners.

Gain hands-on experience with marketing strategy, tools, and best practices from seasoned professionals.

Other Marketing Tasks:

Assist with event planning, webinars, and virtual summits as needed.

Conduct market research to inform content and campaign decisions.

Collaborate with the team on branding and messaging improvements.

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to write compelling copy and communicate ideas effectively.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and working with marketing tools like HubSpot (prior experience is a plus, but not required).

Creative and Detail-Oriented: Able to think outside the box while managing small details effectively.

Self-Starter: Eager to take initiative, manage your time well, and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Figma.

Familiarity with marketing analytics (Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting, etc.).

Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for B2B industries.

Basic understanding of SEO or paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
