About the Application Development & Integration (ADI):
ADI manages the digital application infrastructure for UO Libraries and offers technology services that align with the libraries’ and university’s missions. These services include web-based application development, customization, management, maintenance, and support. ADI collaborates with library departments and units with high technology needs, applying web and application design principles to facilitate the discovery and delivery of collection information and knowledge.
Position Summary
The University of Oregon Libraries is seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Application Development & Integration (ADI) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital experience for the UO Libraries, ensuring that our web presence is not only functional but also engaging, accessible, and reflective of our commitment to innovation in research and education. As a key player in managing and enhancing the Libraries’ digital platforms, you will collaborate with diverse teams to create unified and user-friendly interfaces, lead critical web initiatives, and contribute to the broader UO Drupal and WA2C communities. • This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills in systems analysis and related programming support functions generally obtained by a bachelor's degree in computer science, or an equivalent amount of training and applied experience.
