General Summary:

We are looking for a skilled social copywriter to join the digital marketing team to write content across our social platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience writing compelling, on-brand short form content on social media platforms like LinkedIn, X, and Instagram – and can write for our Qualcomm, Snapdragon, and executive voices.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing English copy for our social media channels, both corporate and executive
2. Using AI tools like Writer and Copilot to increase the overall volume of social content
3. Maintaining our social tone & voice documentation
4. Managing and organizing their work to efficiently respond to requests
5. Assisting with other writing projects, including longer-form content (such as speech or essay writing)

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
   OR
   Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
   OR
   High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
   Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced communication skills in English
2. 1-3 years of social copywriting experience
3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4. Strong foundation in the principles of writing and editing in English; including grammar, spelling, and slang
5. Understanding of the best practices for social media channels – character counts, tagging, hashtags, and style
6. Familiarity with social platforms like X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
7. Experience working with a social media management system like Sprout Social
8. Experience with social media in the tech industry
9. Solid project management skills & strong attention to detail
10. Willingness to learn and interest in problem-solving
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
