Advertising Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Advertising Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of integrated media plans aimed at elevating brand presence, captivating our target demographics, and fueling revenue growth. Drawing upon your proficiency in ad trafficking, media planning, purchasing, and analytics, alongside adept project management skills, you will spearhead the development and orchestration of cohesive media campaigns spanning multiple platforms to support various business divisions measured by specific revenue goals. Your understanding of the luxury hospitality and entertainment sector will be instrumental in sustaining our resort's position as the ultimate choice for exceptional guest journeys.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • In-house expert on Third-Party Ad Servers (DoubleClick DCM), Rich Media, DCO, and Viewability/Fraud
  • Support all media trafficking needs by scheduling and maintaining placements, rotation of ads, and creative throughout the lifetime of campaigns
  • Efficiently distribute tags, trackers, and creative assets to all media partners
  • Embed audience measurement, verification, and other tracking components for external vendors as needed
  • Support daily QA and timely troubleshooting of all placements, tagging, and floodlights/vendor pixels for on-site tracking implementations to ensure proper tracking
  • Proven experience in working within media buying software, trafficking, and generating performance reports
  • Ability to create media campaign pitch decks and present to executive stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and consumer insights to inform media planning decisions
  • Work closely with internal marketing teams and external media agencies to plan, negotiate, and execute media buys across various traditional and digital channels
  • Facilitate the development of integrated media campaigns and analyze media performance metrics to track campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact and ROI
  • Oversee the creative process for advertising collateral, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand guidelines
  • Manage media budgets and allocations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners, evaluating media plans, negotiating favorable terms and maximizing value for the resort
  • Stay updated on the latest paid media trends and technologies, customer research, market conditions, industry vertical trends, and competitor data to identify new opportunities to improve campaign performance
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the vision, scope, and requirements for campaigns, ensuring functional and strategic alignment
  • Optimize campaign performance through continuous monitoring, A/B testing, and data analysis
  • Recognize upsell and cross-sell opportunities and support senior leadership in business development efforts
  • Ensure that deliverables created are high quality, impactful, and in line with Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ best practices and methodologies
  • Assist in coordinating and executing billing activities to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality, advertising, communications, business, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years in ad operations, digital advertising, media planning & buying
  • Minimum two (2) years in management role
  • Hands on expertise with DoubleClick Campaign Manager third-party ad serving required
  • Experience working in an advertising agency is required
  • Able to work in a deadline-orientated environment with flexible work schedule
  • Experience in Media Buying Software or Media Buying Platforms such as Mediaocean, Meta Business Ads, The Trade Desk, etc
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong understanding of media channels, including social media, programmatic, search, out-of-home advertising and more
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in media consumption, advertising technologies, and industry best practices
  • One or more required certifications: Google Ads Certification. Facebook Blueprint Certification, IAB Digital Media Sales Certification. DMA Certified Marketing Professional
  • Ability to develop comprehensive media strategies that align with client goals and objectives
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in managing large media budgets and optimizing spend across various channels
  • Proficiency in negotiating with media vendors to secure the best rates and placements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and collaboration with internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns/projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Ability to guide internal Members and external partners and manage up to stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Proficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in a high-pressure setting
  • Capacity to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and new information
  • Willingness to adjust plans and strategies as needed
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity under pressure
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY

$70000 per year - $85000 per year
