Job Overview:

The Advertising Account Manager role at ISN supports category management, supplier customers and marketing by delivering high-quality content and advertising solutions in a timely manner, ultimately driving top-line revenue increases. This role also sells advertising and events to offset marketing expenses and drive profit. This is achieved by utilizing relationship selling, collaborating with category management, supplier customers and marketing, and organization to ensure deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate is driven with a sense of urgency, is adept at understanding how to leverage ISN’s place in the market to sell the value of advertising with us to our suppliers and partners and is driven to meet sales goals. Additionally, this person understands how to present data in a way that shows the return on investment and builds trust to deepen relationships with the accounts managed.

Based on business considerations, we are considering candidates from the following locations: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Serve as the primary contact between the client and creative team, meeting with clients frequently.
  • Determine advertising strategy with clients and assist in developing effective campaigns.
  • Presents creative proposals to clients for approval, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Manage project timelines and meet deadlines for all initiatives.
  • Oversee advertising budgets for multiple client accounts.
  • Acquire new accounts and negotiate contracts to expand the client base.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to uncover client goals and opportunities.
  • Track advertising campaign performance and provide analytics to clients and ISN to show impact of investment on revenue generation.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts and budgets for assigned accounts.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A combination of education and work experience also eligible.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in advertising sales or account management.
  • Strong account management experience, preferably with large/key accounts (regional or national).
  • Business-to-Business marketing knowledge, with an understanding of product distribution, preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports or dashboards to tell a story.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint, OneDrive required; experience with CRM software such as HubSpot is desirable.
