KMSP-TV in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a News Anchor.

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX 9/KMSP-TV, the FOX O and O in Minneapolis/St. Paul, is looking for a 21st Century multi-platform journalist to join our team. You’ll be an excellent live communicator with the ability to sustain UNSCRIPTED coverage and content on linear and on our live streaming platforms including FOX Local.

You’ll be dynamic and motivated, living and breathing news and information from our community, state, and the world around us. You’ll be able to write and deliver that information in a compelling and distinctive style, and you’ll be a natural live interviewer.

Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree with emphasis in Communications and Journalism preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in a medium to major market.
- Strong news judgment and a superior knowledge of current events.
- Conversational, pithy writing skills that stand out from “news-speak”.
- A professional appearance.
