Texas Association of Broadcasters is hiring: Morning Anchor/Producer in Tyler

We are looking for an experienced Morning Anchor/Producer who will work with another Co-Anchor/Producer and two other Producers to put together the dominant #1 morning show in East Texas. At least 1-2 years anchoring experience preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Co-Anchor 2.5 hours of news each morning
2. Produce a half hour or hour of news each morning
3. Update digital products as needed overnight
4. Public appearances
5. Occasional Reporting

Qualifications/Requirements:

College degree in Journalism related field is strongly preferred. Experience in a commercial TV station or strong college program is a major plus. Must have strong writing, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work under deadline pressure. Must work well with news makers, contacts, viewing public, and others.
