Job Summary/Description:

1. Anchor Good Morning East Texas Weekend
2. Co-Produce Good Morning East Texas Weekend
3. Edit portions of the newscast
4. Report on Good Morning East Texas three weekdays each week
5. Fill-in anchor on Good Morning East Texas weekdays when needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A college degree in Journalism related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a commercial TV station or strong college program is a major plus.
• Must have strong writing, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure.
• Must work well with newsmakers, contacts, viewing public, and others.
• Required to work weekends and some holidays.
