Audio Visual Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Audio/Visual Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio/visual operations and services. This position will be responsible for managing technicians and engineers to ensure seamless execution of audiovisual requirements for events, conferences, and entertainment performances. This position is also responsible for implementing audio/visual technology, equipment management, and event production which will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience and maintaining our high standards of quality and excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Design and implement new project AV systems for property
- Lead, guide, and provide training to a team of engineers, technicians, and tech services support
- Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and training to ensure efficient operation of AV services
- Responsible for the supervision and performance of all technical aspects of AV systems, property, hotel rooms, luxury suites AV and control systems
- Schedule and supervise technical personnel and equipment needed for property activities
- Serve as technical liaison for exhibitions or groups utilizing the resort event services
- Ensure the availability, functionality, and proper maintenance of AV equipment and systems
- Work closely with event planners, conference organizers, and entertainment personnel to understand their AV needs
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate AV solutions based on their requirements and budget
- Coordinate and supervise the setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment during events
- Oversee and maintain the operation and maintenance of all AV equipment
- Develop and manage the audiovisual department's budget, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure the audiovisual team follows appropriate safety protocols
- Maintain inventory of audiovisual equipment, track usage, and manage repair or replacement processes
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies, trends, and industry best practices
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in audiovisual technology, event management, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years of experience in audiovisual operations, preferably in a hotel, casino, or entertainment venue
- Proficient knowledge of AV equipment, systems, and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Handles multiple tasks and works a variety of shifts necessary to complete assigned projects
- Must have good computer skills to maneuver within computer programs on a network, including working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Must be able to maintain a monthly budget within the limits provided by the Director
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and specifications
- Ability to handle independent work responsibility and with good judgment
- Have working knowledge in the maintenance and operations of refrigerator systems
- Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA General Industry Statutes and Regulations
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Knowledge of safe working practices for the maintenance trades, including regulatory requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will oversee Audio Visual Engineers and Technicians.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY
$80000 per year - $100000 per year
