In this position you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Write, research and edit content for various agency publications, productions and outreach, including: publications, video scripts, presentations, press releases, social media posts and more as needed.
  2. Run agency print shop. Coordinate the printing of external and internal materials and displays. Train other personnel on the proper use of agency printing equipment as needed.
  3. Collaborate with agency departments and area offices statewide to improve internal and external communications.
  4. Attend/staff agency booth at events/functions to increase the general public’s awareness of the agency and facilitate business partnerships.
  5. Assist with statewide event coordination and state office campus tours.
  6. Assist with responses to media requests/interviews, crisis responses, and FOIA requests.
  7. Serve as liaison to Governor’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities: prepares information for, arranged adjudication of, and coordinates with high schools and colleges/universities for the Annual Journalism Contest.
