About the Role
Content marketing is a core strategic component of our sales and marketing strategy. We're looking for a superstar Content Marketer that has experience developing content for thought leadership and lead generation. You'll be our in-house storyteller, our journalist that builds relationships with all facets of the company - from product to engineering to our impact teams - to surface our most compelling stories. You'll transform these stories into engaging content assets, then work with our digital marketing and PR teams to distribute and measure the impact of your work. These assets could include blogs, videos, ebooks, white papers, infographics, case studies, social posts, and more.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, sales, SMEs and PR to plan and produce thought leadership content to establish Sama as a thought leader and engage our target audience.
- Support sales efforts in creating content tailored to our verticals and use cases.
- Build and maintain an editorial calendar and content plan designed to engage our target audience throughout the customer journey.
- Collaborate with external agencies and freelance writers for content development – manage budget and deadlines.
- Optimize new and existing content for search engines and lead generation.
- Write customer stories and related content that help bring Sama's story to life.
- Assist with other marketing activities supporting quarterly initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- A love for storytelling, and a natural ability to engage customers with sticky content.
- Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities, including long form and short form content.
- Keen interest and/or expertise in Artificial Intelligence and cutting edge technologies.
- Proven track record developing engaging content development calendars, then managing the content creation cycle, including engaging internal and external experts and thought leaders.
- Deep reliance on data-driven decision making for continuous optimization.
- Expertise and understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, including buyer's journey.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability write content targeting our core keywords.
- Understanding of marketing automation, particularly Hubspot.

- 5+ years technology content or journalism, preferably B2B software creating high-quality content in the form of articles, landing pages, ebooks, case studies and more.
- Experience working across teams and geographies.
