Senior Content Marketer Job at Purple Dot in Charlotte

Purple Dot, Charlotte, NC, United States, 28245

Your location: London (UK), New York City (NY, USA) or Charlotte (NC, USA)

At Purple Dot, our vision for e-commerce is simple: Everything that gets made, gets sold.

For decades, brands have waited for stock to arrive at the warehouse to sell it online. But this waiting isn’t going well: Nearly 1 in 4 products produced is never sold. Despite efforts across the industry to increase sell-through once stock arrives, e-commerce requires a radical rebuild to create long-term business sustainability as well as for our planet. This is a $732 billion opportunity.

That’s why at Purple Dot, we believe the next 10 years of e-commerce innovation will happen before stock arrives at the warehouse. We see a world where some, or even most, stock is sold before it arrives, constantly reducing inventory risk and waste. Whether it’s 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year away, Purple Dot helps brands sell more and store less by selling earlier.

Our pre-commerce solution is proudly trusted by hundreds of brands across every industry including Mattel, McLaren, and New Era, processing millions of dollars per month in transactions.

As the first marketing team member at Purple Dot, you’ll work closely with the founders and commercial team to own Purple Dot’s story and content in a way that drives awareness, creates demand and builds trust with our customers. You’ll have deep accountability for all externally facing touchpoints for Purple Dot.

You’ll be directly responsible for creating engaging, actionable content across multiple formats and channels that increases inbound leads and supports close rates for the commercial team. This includes crafting a consistent and compelling brand voice that communicates our value proposition to customers and positions Purple Dot as the leader in the pre-commerce space.
