JOB SUMMARY

KOSA-TV, the #1 CBS station in Odessa-Midland, TX, is looking for a News Photographer and Editor to join our team. This person will shoot and edit content for daily newscasts, the CBS7.com website and the station’s social media sites. S/he will also run live shots for reporters and anchors. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of television news photography, electronic editing equipment and live equipment. They must also have a valid driver’s license. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a commercial television newsroom internship are required. Must be available to work various shifts as needed. Produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Experience in all aspects of television news photography, electronic editing equipment and live equipment.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a commercial television newsroom internship are required.
5. Available to work various shifts as needed.
6. Produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
