JOB SUMMARY
KOSA-TV, the #1 CBS station in Odessa-Midland, TX, is looking for a News Photographer and Editor to join our team. This person will shoot and edit content for daily newscasts, the CBS7.com website and the station’s social media sites. S/he will also run live shots for reporters and anchors. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of television news photography, electronic editing equipment and live equipment. They must also have a valid driver’s license. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a commercial television newsroom internship are required. Must be available to work various shifts as needed. Produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience in all aspects of television news photography, electronic editing equipment and live equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a commercial television newsroom internship are required.
- Available to work various shifts as needed.
- Produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
