What this job involves:
The Specialist Graphic Designer role will support our EMEA and AMER sales teams in all phases of their sales opportunities. Working with the seller, they will help with design production for RFx (Request for Anything) and proposal pursuits, in both JLL and customer brands, that communicate our win themes and sales messaging.
Additionally, you will:
- Create and maintain high-quality visual content for the company brand in both digital and print communications, including, but not limited to brochures, flyers, infographics, creative presentations, pitch decks, and research reports.
- Work on various Real Estate related deliverables like 2D Maps, Site plans, Floor plans, Building Illustrations, and property brochures/flyers.
- Build charts, graphs, and other information graphics using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Edit/enhance images or photographs using Adobe Photoshop.
- Clearly communicate with, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and traffic manager, ensuring expectations around delivery timelines are carefully managed.
- Uphold and strive to innovate within brand standard guidelines.
- Generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
- Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes marketers, art directors, and design managers in order to create compelling designs.
- Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field.
- Have the ability to work independently and under deadline pressure on several projects simultaneously.
- Receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders in your design work.
- Have a team-oriented attitude and the ability to contribute to design- and functionality-related marketing decisions.
- Strong work ethic: Takes initiative and can self-manage. Resourceful when approaching projects, can navigate through obstacles to bring projects to fruition, and can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- When required, act as mentor and support a team of designers, providing feedback and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or an art school certificate with significant equivalent experience.
- Have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of graphic design experience or similar.
- Strong online portfolio.
- Advance or Fluent English and communication level (including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing).
- Must have a superior understanding of the fundamental concepts of graphic design principles.
- Creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of business-to-business print and digital marketing collateral.
- Knowledge of graphic design basics including elements and principles of design, typography, and layout.
- Proficient to expert level experience in Adobe Suite focusing on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint, with experience creating editable graphics in PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word (formatting, designing documents for consistency, using embedded styles or making custom styles; working with tables; importing/inserting tables, pictures, and graphics from various programs).
- Positive, can-do attitude in the face of complications, adversity, tight deadlines, and fluctuating workload.
- Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
