Zimmer Communications in Columbia, Jefferson City, & Springfield Missouri is looking for a News/ Talk Format Captain to lead our News/ Talk radio stations.

Take the helm in steering our brands by curating compelling content that captivates our audience across diverse platforms such as radio, web, podcasts, videos, social media, and beyond. Join forces with a dedicated team spanning across multiple departments all working to amplify both revenue and listenership. Embrace the role of a mentor, nurturing talent and fostering distinctive voices that leave a positive impact on our community.

The ideal candidate would embody our company's core values (listed below), have outstanding organization, share our deep passion for the power of radio, be a wizard at solving problems, understand how to communicate with different personalities, create and execute a vision for future success, have News/Talk radio experience, and be a service-based leader.

Other skills would include the ability to coach air talent, planning, goal setting/tracking, Wide Orbit Automation tactician, sales-oriented, and self-motivated.
