UAB Wellness Promotion Outreach Coordinator VISTA

UAB Wellness Promotion supports student success by developing health promotion and prevention programs for topics relevant to today’s college students. We empower students with the information and resources needed to achieve healthy and balanced lifestyles.

Member Duties:

1. Coordinate health promotion and health education outreach activities centered on Wellness Promotion’s topic areas including substance misuse prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, sexual health promotion, and stress/sleep/self-care promotion.
2. Schedule, manage, and organize outreach activities.
3. Help plan events for the department throughout the academic year.
4. Participate in outreach and other programming activities.
5. Assist Wellness Promotion staff with projects and administrative tasks.
