Under general supervision, stenotypes and reports a verbatim record of courtroom proceedings, providing general support to the assigned Judge related to the official record. Court Reporters are responsible for reporting verbatim proceedings in civil, criminal, juvenile, and other court proceedings; reading aloud at the direction of the Court, and preparing transcripts of those proceedings as requested in accordance with applicable code sections.
