About the job:
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals and target audience.
- Create SEO roadmaps that include technical, on-page, and off-page optimization tactics.
- Plan and manage organic growth initiatives, ensuring they align with brand messaging and overall marketing campaigns.
- Keyword Research & Content Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities.
- Develop content strategies that focus on ranking for target keywords while delivering value to users.
- Collaborate with content writers to create and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content, including blogs, landing pages, and website copy.
- On-Page Optimization:
- Oversee the optimization of meta tags, headlines, alt text, URL structures, and internal linking.
- Ensure all pages are optimized for target keywords and follow SEO best practices.
- Perform regular audits to ensure content is optimized for mobile and voice search.
- Off-Page SEO & Link-Building:
- Design and implement effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
- Identify and establish partnerships with authoritative websites, bloggers, and influencers.
- Monitor and evaluate backlink profiles to ensure compliance with Google's guidelines.
- Technical SEO:
- Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and website performance issues.
- Work with web developers to implement structured data (Schema markup), improve site speed, and ensure mobile optimization.
- Ensure XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and canonical tags are correctly set up and updated.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Track KPIs such as organic traffic, bounce rate, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
- Create detailed monthly and quarterly SEO reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Competitor & Market Analysis:
- Analyze competitors' SEO strategies, identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
