ZipRecruiter is hiring: UI/UX Designer - Digital Experiences - Hybrid in Cary

We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing intuitive and user-centered digital experiences for both internal and external applications. You will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from user research and concept development to prototyping and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points.
2. Translate user research findings into actionable design solutions.
3. Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
4. Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
5. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency and successful project delivery.
6. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the development process.
7. Continuously refine and improve designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
8. Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. A portfolio showcasing strong UI/UX design skills.
3. 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
4. Strong proficiency in Figma.
5. Experience with design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
6. Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
