Role: UI Web Developer

Location: SAN JOSE, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $50/hr On C2C (Not Negotiable)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in all phases of product development cycle: product definition, architecture, design, scoping, planning, implementation, and testing, especially in USER INTERFACE Development.
2. Prototype to validate architecture and design concepts, and provide example implementations.
3. Work closely with a cross-functional team to translate system and functional requirements into code.
4. Own key components of the distributed Cloud platform by designing, developing, and testing to ensure quality and stability.
5. Participate in architectural decisions, design, and code reviews.
6. Design one or more modules of orchestration, configuration, deployment, management, and provisioning functions.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years experience as a UI/Web Developer.
• Expertise in Web UI Technologies including XML, XHTML/HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, etc.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex user interfaces, custom controls, live updates, MVC, performance optimizations, etc.
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks like Angular, ExtJS/JQuery, GWT, Dojo, Backbone.js, etc.
• Experience in UI testing frameworks like Selenium, QTP, Eggplant, etc.
• Experience with Application Servers such as Tomcat, Weblogic, Jetty, JBoss.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting across functional groups.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience integrating UI with Java or Scala based web layer technologies.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Ant, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
