Position Overview:
Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, the Paid Media Specialist will completely own the paid media landscape for a number of Brands within the American Outdoor Brands portfolio. We are looking for a passionate digital marketer who has experience in Amazon Ads, Google Ads, and Paid Social channels. This position will be given the opportunity to work closely with multiple Brands, Creative teams, and the rest of the eCommerce team, developing media strategy and executing campaigns for large, nationwide brands. This position requires you to hit the ground running and the ability to work from experience is critical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with various AOB departments to develop, create and execute paid media campaigns for various brands.
- Own management of budgets, bids, pacing and performance across multiple channels for multiple brands.
- Understand our brands’ target audiences and develop effective campaigns to acquire new customers.
- Develop actionable insights through A/B testing for use by brand and creative teams.
- Own campaign performance reporting and develop strategies for optimization, growth and new opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned by their manager.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or related field, or 3-5 years of experience.
- Passion for the outdoors, camping, fishing or products used for shooting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in data manipulation and report building.
Competencies and Skills:
- Experience running ad campaigns in Amazon, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Bing, YouTube or Reddit.
- Experience working with Google Analytics and reporting software such as Google Data Studio.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organization and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of A/B testing principles, optimization and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and draw actionable insights for reporting/planning/budgeting.
Physical Demands:
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- 10% travel.
