Design Technician II

Location: MI (hybrid - onsite at local service center M, T, Th. Field work monthly also required)

Contract: 12 months+

Responsibilities

• Develop MicroStation drawings used to complete civil construction of natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Develop standard detail drawings in MicroStation
• Conduct analysis of external/third party designs using internal tools and ensure each design follows the required specifications.
• Work in collaboration with engineering staff -Thoroughly understand construction drawing packages, civil site design, foundation design and structural design.

Skills

• Computer and applications knowledge and experience drafting construction drawings required. Clear and precise designs are needed to effectively convey the design requirements to the construction contractors.
• Designs need to be safe, ergonomic, and practical.
• Experience with Bentley products including MicroStation, Open Plant and ProjectWise are preferred.

Education

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
