Design Technician II
Location: MI (hybrid - onsite at local service center M, T, Th. Field work monthly also required)
Contract: 12 months+
Responsibilities Develop MicroStation drawings used to complete civil construction of natural gas infrastructure projects. Develop standard detail drawings in MicroStation Conduct analysis of external/third party designs using internal tools and ensure each design follows the required specifications. Work in collaboration with engineering staff -Thoroughly understand construction drawing packages, civil site design, foundation design and structural design.
Skills Computer and applications knowledge and experience drafting construction drawings required. Clear and precise designs are needed to effectively convey the design requirements to the construction contractors. Designs need to be safe, ergonomic, and practical. Experience with Bentley products including MicroStation, Open Plant and ProjectWise are preferred.
Education Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
