Job Title: Production Planner/Master Scheduler

Location: Tualatin, OR 97062

Duration: 12+ Months

Client Industry: Semiconductor

Pay Rate: $28 - $31 /hr.

Job Description:

1. Coordinates and/or monitors Planned orders and Production Orders for final approval of products built through the complete production cycle.
2. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedule; provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with Supply Chain, Production Planning, Engineering, Project Managers, and Manufacturing.
3. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions in case of design changes.
4. Oversees the master schedules and ensures compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
5. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
6. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
7. Maintains team performance standards under changing circumstances.
8. Performs other related duties as required.

3. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail.
4. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient with production planning systems, such as master production schedule & material requirements planning.
7. Ability to successfully interact and coordinate globally across the organization, both technical and non-technical.

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, production planning, or a related field.
2. Adept knowledge of SAP (MM/PP) or similar ERP system.
3. Knowledge of BOM structures and Engineering Change process.
4. Experience in wafer processing or general manufacturing is a definite plus.
5. Education: Associate’s degree or a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
